One of the many benefits of using eTags is that we provide a digital copy, or "eTag", of your registation card when you place an order for a new registration, registration renewal, or registration replacement in Florida. Login to your account to view and download your "eTag" any time. This digital copy is not a substitute for the official registration card mailed to you, but can be valuable in the following circumstances:
- Your registration was expired when you placed your order and you're awaiting delivery on your hard copy registration and decal from USPS.
- Your original shipment from eTags is delayed or lost.
- You subsequently lose the registration card after you receive it.
- You're not near your vehicle and/or official registration and you need to access information on it.
Additional facts about the digital copy:
- The digital copy of your registration card, or "eTag", is not meant to be used in place of the official registration card. If you don't receive your shipment within 10 business days, please contact us.
- The mailing address shown on your "eTag" may differ from where eTags is shipping your order. The address shown of your registration card will reflect the mailing address the DMV has on file. While eTags can ship your order to any U.S. address, the address shown on your registration card can only be changed in person or online directly with the DMV.
- Upon processing of your order, you first receive a "temporary registration” copy by email until your order is shipped. Once your order is shipped, a scan of your actual registration card replaces the temporary copy. The temporary copy card will exclude information like a second owner and the vehicle color. Rest assured, the scanned copy of your official registration card will be made available to you on your account once it ships.
