Duplicate Registration Cards
A Duplicate registration is a copy of the vehicle registration card. It does not come with a new or replacement plate sticker. If you've placed an order with eTags, you can always print a copy of your registration card by logging in to your account. If you need or prefer to have another registration card mailed to you, it can be ordered for a nominal fee on the Florida DMV's website. eTags does not ship out duplicate registration cards. We can only process full replacements which come with plate stickers and/or new plates.
Replacement Decal/Sticker or License Plate
If you placed an order with us, we'll replace the sticker, also referred to as decal, or the license plate free of charge. You qualify for a free replacement if the registration is not within the 90-day renewal period and if you have not received a free replacement for your order in the past. Simply submit a support ticket, and we'll provide you with the steps on getting your free replacement shipped out. With either the replacement of a sticker or the replacement of a license plate, you will receive a new registration card.
If you have not placed an order with eTags or if you have already received a free replacement from us but need to order another one, simply visit eTags.com to place an order. Whether you order a replacement with us or obtain one in person at a tag or tax collector's office, you'll be asked to complete a replacement form and show your ID. Our sticker and plate replacement process allows us to collect this information online allowing you to avoid an office visit.
