My Florida registration order was canceled because of wrong owner or vehicle information. What does this mean?

The information you provided as the register owner's name or the information provided for the vehicle make and year does not match the information in the Florida DMV's system for that plate number. 

You may have entered the plate number incorrectly which returned the vehicle information of a different person. Or you may have provided the name of the person to whom the registation should be shipped to without providing the actual registered owner's name. In either case, you can simply login to your account and re-submit an order with the corrected information.

Please note that you can’t transfer a license plate from one vehicle to another by simply providing the new owner or vehicle information on a registration renewal order. You can though place an order for a new registration or to transfer a registration by choosing the correct service on this page.

If you believe all the information was entered correctly on the original eTags order, please submit a ticket with a photo of your current vehicle registration so eTags can investigate further.
