With some exceptions for special circumstances, your Florida registration renewal or replacement order(s) with eTags is/are sent via USPS First Class Mail. If mailing within Florida, the average delivery time is 2-5 business days. “Business days” are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding weekends as well as any federal holidays.
Some shipments may exceed the average delivery time, such as in the case of an out-of-state shipping address (outside of FL), if there’s a mistake with name or shipping address provided to us, if your shipped order is being returned to us by USPS, and/or for varied reasons based on USPS operational processes. Please note that if you ordered more than one Florida registration with us, each one is shipped individually.
If you’re receiving a new license plate or a replacement of a free replacement registration from us, you’ll receive your order via USPS First Class Mail with tracking and usually sooner than the average delivery time.
While you wait for your delivery, if your plate sticker is expired, make sure to download or print your "eTag", or registration card copy by logging to your account. This is your proof that your registration is legally renewed as of the date shown while you await delivery of your official registration card. This is a unique benefit of using eTags.com.
